From Fear to Future: My Computer Science Journey
Discovering the world of computer science felt like stepping into the unknown, but my four-year journey has transformed it into a confident path.
It all started in grade 9 with a simple curiosity about computers. This initial spark ignited a four-year exploration that took me from initial apprehension to tackling complex projects. My journey wasn’t linear, but each step – from mastering basic hardware and software in high school to delving into the intricacies of Database Management Systems (DBMS) in eleventh grade – built a strong foundation.
The real turning point came with practical application. Working as a mentor to peers and collaborating on projects solidified my understanding. The introduction to DBMS in eleventh grade was a pivotal moment, morphing from confusion into dedicated study. This, coupled with research into advanced DBMS, empowered me to confidently navigate challenges.
My experience as a Data Manager at ER Solution in the professional world further broadened my horizons, exposing me to the practical use of databases across various organizations. This inspired me to pursue a higher-level IT education. Currently, as a researcher at Web3, I’m immersed in the dynamic world of Web3, exploring the intersection of computer science and emerging technologies.
Looking back, each milestone – from foundational knowledge to professional experience – has been instrumental in shaping my passion for computer science. My journey continues, driven by a constant pursuit of knowledge and a desire to innovate within the ever-evolving tech landscape.
